Leveraging Secondary Data for STEM Education Research

Are you a STEM education researcher interested in learning about how secondary data can benefit your research?

Join the ECR Hub on April 2 for a workshop on how to continue, extend, or pivot your research using already available data.

Attendees will:

  • Learn more about what secondary datasets are and how they are beneficial
  • Review what research questions can be answered with secondary data relevant to fundamental STEM education researcher
  • Explore different sources of secondary data and important considerations for working with secondary data
  • Learn different ways to access secondary data and seek training and support 

The event will also feature a brief presentation from SafeInsights, an NSF-funded large-scale education research hub that enables researchers to deeply understand how students learn.
