Proposal Workshop: Interested in NSF Funding to Train STEM Education Researchers Across the Nation?

Are you a research methodologist or STEM education researcher interested in sharing your expertise in specific research methods and practices?

Join the ECR Hub on November 8 for an interactive workshop on crafting a compelling proposal for the Building Capacity in STEM Education Research Institutes for Methods and Practices (BCSER:IMP) program.

Attendees will:

  • Learn more about the BCSER:IMP solicitation from NSF program officers
  • Hear from current BCSER Institute PIs about how they developed their proposal, including identifying the rationale for their Institute and developing the Institute structure
  • Have working time to develop the justification for their proposed training
  • Receive feedback from current BCSER Institute PIs and workshop participants about the proposed idea

After the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to further discuss their idea with an NSF program officer on December 13 during drop-in office hours.

About BCSER:IMP: BCSER:IMP awards support field-initiated institutes that provide participants with training and support in the use of cutting-edge methodological techniques and/or practices that advance the participants’ knowledge, skills, and competencies in STEM education research
