This workshop was hosted by SafeInsights as part of the 2024 ECR PI Meeting. SafeInsights, NSF’s largest infrastructure for education research, brings an unprecedented opportunity for STEM education researchers to advance fundamental, use-inspired, and applied research. 

Executive Director JP Slavinsky discussed what SafeInsights is, how it can support ECR PIs research, and how researchers can influence its development. With 80 partners, including leading digital learning platforms, SafeInsights reaches millions of real learners in their authentic learning environments. SafeInsights prioritizes a privacy-by-design approach to large-scale high-impact research, and aligns with ECR's mission to enhance learning, broaden participation, and develop the STEM workforce.
