On November 8, 2024 the ECR Hub hosted an interactive workshop on crafting a compelling proposal for the Building Capacity in STEM Education Research Institutes for Methods and Practices (BCSER:IMP) program.

Attendees:

• Learned more about the BCSER:IMP solicitation from NSF program officers
• Heard from current BCSER Institute PIs about how they developed their proposal, including identifying the rationale for their Institute and developing the Institute structure
• Had working time to develop the justification for their proposed training
• Received feedback from current BCSER Institute PIs and workshop participants about the proposed idea
